  1. Imagine – John Lennon

Comments:

This is for sure the most meaningful song on the list. If you imagine the world that we live in like the world John Lennon is telling us to imagine it like, its perfect. The world that we live in is cruel, full of hate, racism, murder, and war. The world that John Lennon sings is tells us how we should want the world to be. In his song there is world peace, and everyone is living together as one people sharing the world. If you listen to the song and imagine the world how he says you would know that I’m right. R.I.P. John Lennon

It’s realistic, overall something people need to realize. It covers violence issue and I don’t understand while people judge, this will go into that also, it’s more then just a songs it’s a meaningful poem about realistic life things.

Such a very beautiful and meaningful song. It’s so truthful and lovely, his words are inspirational and honest. Let’s all live in harmony and unity, to come together as one and become. This is a beautiful song that everyone needs to listen too. Tears come to my eyes when this song is played, it’s so true. The world is filled with hate and anger and pain. If only the clouds would float away and people would only have the sun Maybe then we would start realizing the good factors and all of the things that we have. What are we doing to this earth? John talks about political, governmental and no countries, no heaven or hell- But what happened to deforestation and we have upset the the balance of the planet also. John was a decent man, and so I thank you John Lennon for your outspoken personality and how you gave us all something to think about, with your words of inspiration. <3 Love ya’ man.

big yums

2. How to Save a Life – The Fray

Comments:

I really love this song. I’ve suffered with depression for four years and nobody believes that I do so I can’t get help. I’ve thought about committing suicide more times than I can count and this song, as well as music in general, made me want to live. I credit this song with saving my life. This song has got me through some dark times over the years especially when I want to kill myself and when no one believed nor cared that I was suffering depression. I would put this song on repeat while I slept and in the morning I would feel happy. The lyrics are so powerful.

I felt something deep about this song just by listening to it. Then I looked up the lyric meanings and boy was I moved. The writing is just heart wrenching and makes you question your existence as a friend or relative. Although I’ve never had any substance-abused friends, I feel ashamed for having looked down on and isolating people who I’ve met and have been addicts. Also, this song doesn’t just apply to drug addiction, it can be for almost anything that someone can’t help doing and others don’t approve of. Ah! Made my day. Plays on repeat.

What is this when I search for music it came. But music does not exist no link nothing

3. Stairway to Heaven – Led Zeppelin

Comments:

I played this song on the guitar because it’s a very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very good song.

Although I do agree with Imagine as being number 1 this should defiantly be second, this song is beautiful and full of meaning a master piece I would say.

Sure, this is probably the greatest song ever composed in terms of musical structure, but does it fit in on a list of the most meaningful songs of all time? I don’t think so.

Listen to it when drawing

4. Skyscraper – Demi Lovato

She has so much emotions thought all of her songs! She is so amazing. Try listening to her new song called warrior. That’s song is so meaningful, it’s amazing.

She is AMAZING! She shows so much thought and emotions by simply singing a song, and she pleases everyone with the meaning and true passion she shows. I just LOVE her! :)!

Absolutely incredible. Shes incredible.

I’v been a fan of Demi since I was 4 years old. This song has always moved me and made me feel like I mean something to the world. It makes me feel like everybody and everything has a purpose.

5. Man in the Mirror – Michael Jackson

Comments:

It just gives one of the greatest messages of life, “change yourself and the world will look a better place”

Energy combined with love, honesty and good will. After the very beginning, striking with decency, he starts praying in remorse, shouting for justice and ends in intimacy. I love it!JB, what the heck!
Now, to be honest, I was never really a big fan of MJ, but this song is just so meaningful, his best!

A message a meaningful message

6. Boulevard of Broken Dreams – Green Day

Comments:

Yes please. This song is so true. If you just don’t know what to do and you’re walking down the path of destiny with no one to guide you, no one beside you and you’re lost, then this song is for you. When you lose hope and everything seems to be going wrong, listen to this song and you’ll relate. You’ll know you’re not alone, that there are people who understand out there. Who knows, maybe someday you’ll find someone who understand you and accept you for who you are. That is what this song stands for, what it preaches. And it doesn’t hurt that the beat and tune of this song are addicting. I love this song so much. It deserves a much higher ranking.

Amazing song. Why isn’t this in top 10? I’m disappointed with you guys.

I mean it’s Green Day… and this is definitely one of there best songs. Lyrical depth that really puts in words the feeling of being lost in life alone and confused not knowing where to go or what to do. It’s a song that I feel everyone can relate to at least a little bit at some point in their life and that really comes with a sense of understanding. It’s just a good song that is great to listen to at any time. 10 out of 10 for sure. If you haven’t listened to it you need to.

It’s really calms me down!

7. Radioactive – Imagine Dragons

Comments:

Radioactive is a great song. Very relatable. Imagine Dragons is an underrated band. They incorporate so much meaning into their songs. In this song, the meaning is loud and clear. And the way they’ve presented it and the dark yet somewhat upbeat rhythm compliments the song well. One of the songs I like best by them is Monster. Now that should be in the Top 10 of this list. Like the line ‘If I told you what I was, would you turn your back on me? ‘ and the paragraph

‘Can I clear my conscience, if I’m different from the rest/Do I have to run and hide? /I never said that I want this/ This burden came to me/ And it’s made its home inside.

And their beats and rhythm and overall vibe is just so great. I like how much meaning is put into the lyrics, that’s what I like best about this band.

The lyrics to this song have so much depth, just by reading them anyone can see the message that is ment to get across. Its intense!

From a musical perspective, this band (Imagine Dragons) does a remarkable job of: incorporating the bass, changing dynamic (how loud a section is played) and emphasizing parts of this song. It gets your heart racing, and urges you to turn it up loud. This is exactly what a revolution should do. Kudos

This is a good song

8. Wings – Macklemore

Comments:

This Song is more than beautiful and it shows off how cruel society became. Everybody cares about being popular and rich even though that’s totally not important. Great lyrics.

This Song is more than beautiful and it shows off how cruel society became. Everybody cares about being popular and rich even though that’s totally not important. Great lyrics.

This song is great Because what he’s singing about is true I’ve been through things like that and I think it should be a bit higher on the list

I’ve loved this song for so long and every time I listen to the lyrics of the song it shows me so many point of this century and memories of me trying to fit in and now that I actually have good shoes I notice that they are not why I have friends

The very first time I listened to this song, I was also watching the video. I cried. This song is so emotional and it shows just how screwed up society has become. I think this song should’ve been more up on the list.

This song is great Becuse what he’s singing about is true I’ve been through things like that and I think it should be a bit higher on the list

This song is just so meaningful, you really have to listen and shut everyone out to be able to understand what he means.

9. Hell Above – Pierce the Veil

Comments:

Pierce the veil really put meaning into their lyrics and express their feelings through songs, I hate it when people put labels such as ’emo or goth or screamo’ if they listened to what the music were about then they’d actually understand.

This band makes music that’s relatable unlike other artists such a Justin beiber or Nikki minaj, no disrespect but what’s so special about the words ‘baby baby baby oh like baby baby baby oh’ and Nikki’s lyrics ‘beez in the trap bee beez in the trap’ like what do they even mean?

They’ve helped so many people through so much it’s unbelievable and they don’t follow society’s idea of perfect or normal and that encourages people all over the world to speak up and not be afraid to be themselves and not be ashamed of who they are, in my eyes Pierce The Veil are true idols and heroes…

Pierce The Veil is a very inspiring band. They helped me through a lot in the past and they deserve to be voted. I will never stop listening to them. And for the people who judge rock/metal, it isn’t “screamo” you don’t even listen to the lyrics. Those lyrics speak out to people who are going through what the song is describing. Don’t judge what you don’t understand.

Not only is Pierce The Veil an amazing band, they’re all really down to Earth. I met them at the World Tour, and they did great live. This song was the opener and it was amazing live. You could tell this song held a special place to Vic (The lead singer if some of you don’t know) and that’s honestly the best part about the band. It’s wonderful knowing these words hold a meaning to them, and that we can all relate to them in one way or another. Never judge Pierce The Veil by their style, they’re one of a kind.

Pierce the veil is a very expressive band and all their songs have some type of meaning behind them and if you look past all the “emo” and “screamo” parts you will see the beauty behind it all and if you have no idea who they are you are missing out on a lot of good and meaningful songs. 10. Family Portrait – Pink

Comments:

This is a very emotional song about families and arguments between parents
I’m sure it will relate to a lot of people

When I listened to the lyrics of this song, it made me cry. I have been going through similar issues, my parents constantly fighting, and it’s clear that don’t love each other anymore. My brothers and I are the only thing keeping them together and I just want to be a happy family again.

This is the most meaningful song it share things that kids go through all the time the struggles they face

This is a song that I love
